Dermoid cysts are #1 most common congenital scalp/calvarium lesion.
- Pathology of dermoid cysts: failure of neroectoderm disjunction
- Contents: epitheliua, hair follicules, sweat glands, cutaneous elements

IMGMRI Brain - evaluate for tracts from scalp to intradural spaces. nasal and midline (inion) dermoid cysts more likely to be associated with this, look at leaves of falx cerebri/cerebelli. |
