  1. Use "Lists" tab in "Weekend Schedule PUH.xlsx." This file is an attachment to this article.
    1. Go to PowerChart and highlight all patients in a list. Hit Ctrl+C on your keyboard.
    2. Go to "Lists" tab in the Excel spreadsheet and hit Ctrl+V to paste the list into the spreadsheet. You only need the room numbers.
  2. The "Counts" tab creates a tally of ICU and floor patients in each list. This facilitates making fair assignments.
  3. Assign lists to each resident

General considerations

  1. Trauma intern takes the trauma floors on Saturday
  2. Trauma junior takes the whole trauma list on Sunday
  3. PAG blue floors must be assigned to a PGY2 or higher
  4. PAG blue ICUs must be assigned to a PGY4
  5. Trauma ICU is usually assigned to the extra rounder on Saturday
  6. Interns round on white floor, gold floor, trauma floor, and non-PAG blue floor
  7. Try to keep the same person rounding on each list Saturday and Sunday

Approval

Must be granted by the chief on call. This can be found on Medtrak.
